Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you are a complete beginner and you don’t have your own instrument, IOSP is happy to provide you with an instrument for the duration of the Intensive. Intermediate and Advanced students are required to have their own or rented instrument and bow with them for the entire session.

  • Yes, it is possible - contact us directly to check the eligibility if you would like to join the beginners session and your child is below or above the required age.

  • Parents might be asked to participate in the sessions for BEGINNERS if your child is below 7 or 8 years old. This is to facilitate the understanding of acquiring the proper posture and technique basics and ensure the good habits will be reinforced during home practice sessions. Faculty will inform parents in advance if their presence will be needed at any of the classes.
