Learning through music in early childhood is an incredibly effective way for kids to develop necessary social and cognitive skills! The Musikgarten curriculum is the leader in early childhood music education. Led by a music professional and licensed Musikgarten teacher, this class promises to be an incredible & enjoyable opportunity!

FALL 2025 PROGRAMS

  • Family Music for Babies (ages 0- 18 months)

    MONDAYS, 9:00-9:30 am

    This class meets all of your child's developmental needs! Using music to practice finger play, body awareness, music theory and crucial music basics, your child will be learning and remembering all they need for their musical development and more. 

  • Family Music for Toddlers (ages 16months-3.5 year olds)

    MONDAYS, 9:45-10:15 am

    For any toddler new to our Musikgarten series! Toddlers in this class will learn through sound exploration and movement. Expect lots of fun activities including singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening and playing simple instruments - active fun for our active toddlers!

  • Please, note that the age groups are flexible to some extent which does not affect the content of the class. If you have two children close to the same age, they might be eligible for the same class - email us with your questions!

TUITION

$300 / child (15 classes)

SIBLINGS:

  • 2 children in the same class $450 (15 classes)

  • 3 children in the same class $400 (15 classes)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, each student receives a packet appropriate for the level they selected. This usually includes a music book with tunes used in class and a cd with recordings to listen to at home.

  • We provide all materials needed, including simple instruments available during class. Bring your energy and positive attitude and enjoy!

  • Use the registration link available on our website (scroll up and find the REGISTER button. You will need to first create an account on our registration platform to be able to select the desired class, register and pay.

  • You will be invoiced through our online registration platform to pay online. You can either pay in full or in installments - you will be able to select the payment plan after you create an account to register for class.

Lynnea Iverson
Early Music Education instructor

Lynnea is a licensed K–12 Instrumental and Vocal music instructor. She is currently teaching students of all ages in her private music studio and directs music at her church. Her past experiences include teaching 6–8 grades Choral Music in the Grand Rapids area and performing in multiple ensembles around Northern Minnesota as a multi-instrumentalist. Lynnea is passionate about the learning process in the music classroom and strives to inspire a love of music in her students and community.
