Lian Ojakangas holds an MM from Missouri State University and BM from University of Michigan in Violin Performance, as well as a graduate certificate from University of Oregon. He has studied privately with Yoonshin Song, David Halen, Hal Grossman, David Hays and Lisa Kim.
